The "summer of love" was in 1969, so several years after I was born in 1961. But that is the one thing that most people think of when they think about the 1960's. And "flower power", of course. My younger sister and I wore flowery dresses on school photo day and the photographer called us "flower power". I seem to remember that we also had bells on chains around our necks! I thought that I would build a small site about the year 1961 and it's events.
